Galatians 5:23

23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (KJV)

Proverbs 25:28

28He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. (KJV)

James 1:14-15

14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (KJV)

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (KJV)

1 Corinthians 6:12

12All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. (KJV)

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (KJV)

Proverbs 16:32

32He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. (KJV)
