Road cyclist (Trek). I rode so many years without recording miles I can\u2019t tell you how many I have ridden. I aim for at least 2000 a season. I find myself working 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles when it\u2019s too cold to get outside. I almost always have music on (except when I study) and prefer classic rock, arena rock and prog rock. (Anything but rap, R & B, country and opera) DeGarmo & Key and Stryper are at the top of my list. I\u2019m also a child of \u201860s music so I listen to Tommy James & the Shondells and Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. I do listen to some worship music (Tomlin, CityAlight, I Am They and various others). \u00a0Trivia buffs take note: #1 song-Crystal Blue Persuasion. #2-Long Distance Runner (D&K). #3-Can\u2019t Take My Eyes Off You.<\/p>\n

Life changed drastically when a hit-n-run driver hit me while on my bicycle in November 2016. I am now an advocate for 3 Feet Please, an organization dedicated to saving cyclist\u2019s lives and working to have states pass a 3 Feet law (distance between car and cyclist when they pass). In February of 2017 I had a violent bike wreck which broke my collarbone, 3 ribs, split my helmet in 3 places, left lots of facial skin on the pavement and woke me up spiritually.<\/p>\n
