I.\u00a0 \u00a0 THE COMMISSION\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The power behind the early church:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 The understood the importance of the (Incarnation<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2.\u00a0 There were chosen leaders-(apostles<\/strong><\/span>)-who led the church.<\/p>\n

What were they to do?<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0 They would be spending their time (immersing<\/strong><\/span>) themselves in Jesus.
\n2)\u00a0 They would not be doing it (on their own<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 \u00a0THE CHALLENGE<\/strong><\/h4>\n

What promise was given? (The Holy Spirit would be sent<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\nTwo things are important for us to see:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 The church is not a (symbol<\/strong><\/span>) but a (reality<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2.\u00a0 The church is not a (program<\/strong><\/span>) but a (power<\/strong><\/span>).
\n3.\u00a0 The church is not (restricted<\/strong><\/span>) but (universal<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
