I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SEEN AND CONFRONTED \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

The history of Belshazzar: many say he (didn\u2019t exist<\/strong><\/span>). He was actually the son of Nabonidus who was married to Nebuchadnezzar\u2019s daughter.<\/p>\n

When Belshazzar called for the sacred items from the Temple, he showed contempt for two:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 His (grandfather<\/strong><\/span>) who stored them out of respect.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The (God<\/strong><\/span>) Nebuchadnezzar grew to worship.<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 EXPOSED AND JUDGED<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

A look at the inscription:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 MENE MENE- God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 TEKEL- You have been weighed and found deficient.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PERES- His kingdom already given to the Medes and Persians<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How the handwriting on the wall for all of us:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God sees (our sin<\/strong><\/span>) when we (mock His glory<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God (confronts<\/strong><\/span>) us about our sin.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God (exposes<\/strong><\/span>) our sin.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God deals with our sin and (brings judgment<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
