Daniel is condemned to death in a most gruesome manner because he chooses (loyalty to God) over (obedience to the state).<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 BE FAITHFUL- (STAND YOUR GROUND<\/span>) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

120 satraps (overseers<\/strong><\/span>) -> 3 governors -> Darius<\/p>\n

Daniel teaches us a very vital lesson here: (Be true to God<\/strong><\/span>) even when it may cost you.<\/p>\n

There was no attempt by Daniel (to hide his faith<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\n

Dynamic at work: (Evil men<\/strong><\/span>) will not stop at trying to entrap a (godly man<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 BE FAITHFUL- (TRUST YOUR GOD<\/span>) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Why can we trust God?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Because we can (rest in God\u2019s plan<\/strong><\/span>). (16-18)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Because we can be (certain of God\u2019s power<\/strong><\/span>) (19-24)<\/p>\n

\n

Daniel\u2019s words: \u201cfound innocent.\u201d What do they mean? When the heat was applied (I chose God<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
