\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE DELUSION OF DENIAL \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The progressives are taking a different approach to denial than simply saying, \u201c(He didn\u2019t die on a cross<\/strong><\/span>).\u201d\u00a0 The overwhelming belief about the crucifixion is that it was (cosmic child abuse<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Another says God didn\u2019t set up the sacrificial system. (Man did<\/strong><\/span>). One says nothing need be done to appease a (hostile God<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE CERTAINTY OF CLAIM<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Key term: (penal substitutionary atonement<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Atonement- (payment<\/strong><\/span>) must be made.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Penal substitution- someone was (substituted<\/strong><\/span>) to pay the price.<\/p>\n

Why is this wrong?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Sin<\/strong><\/span>) must be dealt with.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God (hates sin<\/strong><\/span>) and (what it has done<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

God\u2019s holiness demanded what sin demands-(the just punishment<\/strong><\/span>), the death penalty.<\/p>\n
