THE STRUGGLE WITH MEEKNESS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">What is meekness? Building on what Jesus said previously, meekness comes out of a heart that<br \/>\nis poor in spirit and mourning. The dictionary defines it as (<strong>deficient in courage<\/strong>). That is not the<br \/>\nBible\u2019s definition. The Greek word means (<strong>mild, gentle, and soft<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A good definition is (<strong>power under control<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>II. THE SIGNS OF MEEKNESS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">How can I know I am practicing meekness?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1. I am not always looking out for (<strong>myself first<\/strong>).<br \/>\n2. I no longer care about (<strong>status in life<\/strong>).<br \/>\n3. I am (<strong>finished with myself<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">What does \u201cthe meek will inherit the earth\u201d mean?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1) (<strong>Contentment<\/strong>) comes first.<br \/>\n2) There is a (<strong>present and future reward<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Next Week: \u201c8 Cures\u201d Title: A Radical Pursuit- Mt.5: 6<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2022 THEME: For Such a Time. . .
