It came to mean (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>to be holy<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>I.\u00a0 A SEPARATION BASED ON FAITH\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">I Cor. 15: 20-23<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nFirstfruits could not be celebrated apart from the (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Passover<\/strong><\/span>); and Jesus\u2019 Resurrection could never be celebrated apart from His Passover (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>sacrifice<\/strong><\/span>) for us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nBiblical faith is based on the (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>truth<\/strong><\/span>), the facts about God: spiritual experience is to be the (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>result<\/strong><\/span>) of that faith not the cause of it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nIn the Hebrew the word accepted means (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>pleased or delighted<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<h4>\n<strong>II. \u00a0 A SEPARATION BASED ON PROMISE\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Important to remember: while Pentecost is the \u201cbirthday celebration\u201d of the church when the Holy Spirit came, we are never to look to the Holy Spirit as the foundation of our faith. The church is not and never should be about the Holy Spirit. It has been and always should be about (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Jesus<\/strong><\/span>). No church should ever worship (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>the Holy Spirit<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nTwo promises fulfilled:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1. What happened on Pentecost was a fulfilment of Joel 2.<br \/>\n2.
