        2. Jerusalem was (packed<\/strong><\/span>) and the Roman army on (high alert<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        3. The week began with Jesus entering (riding on a donkey<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE ELEMENTS SURROUNDING THE MEAL\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

          What is the significance of the meal?<\/p>\n

                1. The meal was celebrating (Jesus<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
                2. The meal was celebrating the (blood of the Lamb<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
                3. The meal was celebrating (hope for the future<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                  The Passover meal (looked back<\/strong><\/span>) to what God had done in their history, and (looked forward<\/strong><\/span>) with hope and expectation to what God (would do<\/strong><\/span>) when God truly became king.<\/p>\n

                  \nWe are not to be (takers of<\/strong><\/span>) but those who are (taken by<\/strong><\/span>) communion.<\/p>\n

                  \nA couple thoughts to ponder:<\/p>\n

                          \n
                        1. Communion is a (celebration<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
                        2. Communion is not meant to be a (secondary occasion<\/strong><\/span>). It is mean to be (central<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
                        3. Communion is a life-giving time for (renewal of our faith<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
