I. WHAT GOD WANTS FOR YOU<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Separate handout of \u201cWhat God Wants for You.\u201d (Attacking Anxiety- Johnson-Pp.14-15)<\/p>\n

Gal. 5:1- \u201cFor freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to
\nthe yoke of slavery.\u201d<\/p>\n

II. WHAT GOD PROMISES YOU<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Mark 4:35-41:<\/p>\n

1) Notice what Jesus didn\u2019t do.
\n2) Notice what Jesus did do!<\/p>\n

Even though we are not given a blissful existence and have no trouble, Jesus has promised (His<\/strong><\/span>
\npeace<\/strong><\/span>). See John 14:27<\/p>\n

A few thoughts to chew on:<\/p>\n

1. God is working in the circumstances of our lives. Mk. 4:35-37
\n2. We panic when we lose faith in the One we should trust. 4:38
\n3. Jesus has authority over nature and all our lives because He is God. 4:39
\n4. The identity of Jesus is an issue we all must settle. 4:41<\/p>\n
