I. THE PROMISE OF PERSECUTION<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Recap of the first 4 seals and the horses. They describe the conditions that will prevail on earth
\nuntil (the coming of the Lord in judgment<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

5 th Seal: Followers of Christ can expect (to suffer<\/strong><\/span>), to be (martyrs<\/strong><\/span>) in some cases. Persecution will
\ncome in some way.<\/p>\n

\u201cRevelation is written not as a guide on how to avoid persecution, but rather as encouragement
\nto endure persecution faithfully.\u201d (Guthrie-p.112)<\/p>\n

6 th Seal:<\/p>\n

  1. \n
      \n
    1. \n
        \n
      1. \n
          \n
        1. When we die, we go (directly to heaven<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        2. Although God\u2019s judgments are delayed, (they will come<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        3. God\u2019s verdict (will overturn<\/strong><\/span>) man\u2019s verdict against His people.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          II. THE PROMISE OF DISASTER<\/strong><\/h4>\n

          One aspect of the 6 th seal which will not go away: the (terror of judgment day<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

          Notice the response of the people in verse 16.<\/p>\n
