The Revealed One<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nColossians 1 &#8211; Jesus is the (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>perfect revelation<\/strong><\/span>) of God. Whatever Jesus (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>says and does<\/strong><\/span>) \u2013 it\u2019s what God is saying and doing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Hebrews 1 \u2013 Jesus is here to (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>reveal God to us<\/strong><\/span>). He is the (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>exact representation<\/strong><\/span>) of God.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cGod\u2019s fullness is revealed in Jesus, who is God in the flesh. Jesus revealed the character of God through His teachings, through His mighty works and through His perfect life. On one occasion, Philip \u2013 one of Jesus\u2019s disciples, said, \u2018Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.\u2019 Jesus replied, \u2018Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; so how can you say, \u2018Show us the Father?\u2019\u201d The Old Testament reveals so much about the character of God, but the picture was not complete until \u2018the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory. (John 1:14)\u2019\u201d -Pastor Bryan Gibson<\/p>\n<h4>\n<strong>II. The Gate and the Good Shepherd \u2013 John 10:1-16<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">There is only (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ONE gate by which we can enter<\/strong><\/span>). Any other attempted way in ends badly. The gate is the way into salvation. (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Jesus is the gate<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A thing about gates: There\u2019s a definite \u201cin\u201d and \u201cout\u201d \u2013 you\u2019re either through the gate or you aren\u2019t. You will have to choose: to enter or remain outside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Good Shepherd vs. Hired hand \u2013 the good shepherd loves the sheep and (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>sacrifices his own life<\/strong><\/span>) for them to protect and rescue them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Metaphor of Shepherd \u2013 (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Psalm 23<\/strong><\/span>) and (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ezekiel 34<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Let\u2019s close together by reading Psalm 23 together. Let us remind ourselves what kind of shepherd we have and let us draw near to him and experience \u201cfullest life\u201d [John 10:10]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2023 THEME: Victory!
