The story of Christmas is not a \u201cChristmas morning story\u201d of a virgin with child and all the other players. The story is actually a very intricate story from long, long ago. It was not a last minute scheme by God to (fix something that broke<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0 LONG, LONG AGO LAYS ITS FOUNDATION\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The story of Christmas is the (story of our redemption<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 LONG, LONG AGO FINDS ITS MEANING\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

4 names for the promised Messiah from Isaiah 9:6-7<\/p>\n

        1. (Wonderful Counselor<\/strong><\/span>)-\u00a0 The Hebrew word for wonderful means \u201csomething uncommon our out of the ordinary.\u201d\u00a0 See also Ps.139:6<\/li>\n
        2. (Mighty God<\/strong><\/span>)- Actually two words in Hebrew: El which is used to refer to the (one True God<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Mighty means (strength, power, hero<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        3. (Everlasting Father<\/strong><\/span>)- This says He is (timeless<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 He is (eternal<\/strong><\/span>). He is (preexistent<\/strong><\/span>). He is also (self-existent<\/strong><\/span>), which is seen in His name (I AM<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        4. (Prince of Peace<\/strong><\/span>)- This will be and is only found in Jesus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
