I. THE MANDATE BEFORE US<\/strong><\/h4>\n

What does the mandate do?<\/p>\n

        \n

          \n
        1. It gives us something to (pray<\/strong><\/span>) and (rejoice about<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        2. It (bears fruit<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        3. It (spurs growth<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          The goal of the Gospel is not just that we might pass some kind of test by accurately recounting
          \nthe importance of Jesus. The goal of the Gospel is to produce a type of people consumed with
          \npassion for God and love for others.<\/p>\n

          II. THE MATURITY WE REALIZE<\/strong><\/h4>\n

          Evidence of maturity:<\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. Our desire is to (please Christ<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
                2. Our desire is to do (God\u2019s will<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
                3. Our desire is to experience (God\u2019s freedom<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                  God is not going to rewrite the Bible for your generation. Stop trying to change Scripture when
                  \nit\u2019s written to change you.<\/p>\n
