I. WHAT ARE WE UP AGAINST? <\/strong><\/h4>\n

Our point of reference MUST NOT BE what our (culture<\/strong><\/span>) thinks, but what does (God<\/strong><\/span>) think. Our own (judgment<\/strong><\/span>); our own (viewpoint<\/strong><\/span>); and our own (heart<\/strong><\/span>) is not a reliable gauge for action.<\/p>\n

II. WHAT SHOULD WE BE HEADING TOWARD?
\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n

What did the earliest Christians believe?<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. That Jesus (died for their sins<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
      2. Jesus (was buried<\/strong><\/span>) and (raised from the dead<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
      3. That His atoning death, burial, and resurrection were inseparable from the (Scriptures<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
      4. Their core belief in the Resurrection could be (verified by evidence<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Progressives don\u2019t see their false beliefs as (hijacking Christianity<\/strong><\/span>); they see it as rescuing Jesus from the rigidity of (traditional Christianity<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
