TITLE: Walking with God<\/h1>\n

Scripture: Heb. 11:5 (p.585); Genesis 5:18-24 (p.3)<\/h1>\n

\u201cFaith is measured by your feet, not by your feelings.
\nIt\u2019s measured by what you do, not by what you say you\u2019re going to do.\u201d Evans<\/p>\n

I. WALKING WITH GOD INTIMATELY<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Intimacy-\u201cbelonging to or characterizing one\u2019s deepest nature\u2026marked by very close association, contact, or familiarity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe walked with God\u201d- the word walk expresses (moment by moment<\/strong><\/span>) fellowship with the Lord.<\/p>\n

NT- \u201cwalk in the Spirit\u201d or \u201cwalk by the Spirit\u201d- that means you are (following Him<\/strong><\/span>) not Him (following you<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

What does it mean to walk with God? To bring (Him and His viewpoint<\/strong><\/span>) into everything we think, say or do.<\/p>\n

II. WALKING WITH GOD LOVINGLY <\/strong><\/h4>\n

Two important words about John: (People change<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Here are three keys to understanding John (the individual<\/strong><\/span>):<\/p>\n

        1. He learned to balance (truth and love<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        2. He learned to balance (ambition and humility<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        3. He learned to balance (suffering and glory<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
