Turn to Acts 20 (p.542). Three challenges Paul gives the elders:<\/p>\r\n

1. (Guard yourselves<\/strong><\/span>)
2. (Watch out!<\/strong><\/span>)
3. (I entrust you<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\r\n

Two Scriptures to consider:<\/p>\r\n

1. I Cor. 1:18-25 (p.554)
2. Romans 1:16-17 (p.547)<\/p>\r\n

II. WHAT IS THE RESULT?
<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\r\n

What does this mandate do?<\/p>\r\n

1. Gives us someone and something to be (thankful for<\/strong><\/span>).
2. Gives us something to (shout about<\/strong><\/span>).
3. Gives us something to (celebrate<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\r\n

What is evidence of maturity?<\/p>\r\n

1. Our desire is to (please Christ<\/strong><\/span>). [v.10]
2. Our desire is to do (God\u2019s will<\/strong><\/span>). [v.10-12]
3. Our desire is to experience (God\u2019s freedom<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\r\n
