I. THE FOUNDATION IS LAID<\/span><\/h4>\n

The foundation for Joseph\u2019s future is laid out in Genesis 37. A series of (dreams<\/strong><\/span>) not only<\/span>
\nforetold his future but put his (father and brothers<\/strong><\/span>) on edge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joseph had two dreams:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Bundles in a field all (bowing down<\/strong><\/span>) to him.<\/span>
\n2. The sun, moon and stars all bowed down. This included his (father<\/strong><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

II. LIFE IN THE PITS<\/span><\/h4>\n

Joseph\u2019s life reads like a screenplay in four acts:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. (Treachery<\/strong><\/span>)- 37:18-36<\/span>
\n2. (Temptation<\/strong><\/span>)- 39:1-18<\/span>
\n3. (Disappointment<\/strong><\/span>)- 39:19-40:23<\/span>
\n4. (Forgiveness or Bitterness<\/strong><\/span>)- 41:1-45:15<\/span><\/p>\n

The conclusion to Joseph\u2019s story is found in chapters 46-50. The story of the people of God<\/span>
\ncontinues into Exodus.<\/span><\/p>\n

An important takeaway: Genesis 50:19-21. Compare to Romans 8:28<\/span><\/p>\n
