Title: The Scoop on Sin<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Scripture: Leviticus 5-23<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

We all have a common enemy: (S-I-N<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

\u201cSin leaves each of us guilty\u201d Tripp<\/p>\n

I.\u00a0 SLAVE TO SIN (Chapters 5-13)<\/span><\/h4>\n

Some of us live in (denial<\/strong><\/span>). Some of us live in (excuse-land<\/strong><\/span>). Some of us live in (blame-land<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Truth is: no matter what land we live in (guilt<\/strong><\/span>) will always visit.<\/p>\n

What is essential in all sin is the (confession of guilt<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Acknowledging our sin and guilt makes it possible for (cleansing<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

What Aaron learned; what the people learned is that God (takes sin seriously<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II. SURRENDER TO HOLINESS (Chapter 14-23)<\/span><\/h4>\n

What does holiness mean? It comes from the Greek word that means (to be set apart<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Holiness is not a (thing we do<\/strong><\/span>), an (act we perform<\/strong><\/span>) or the (way we dress<\/strong><\/span>). Holiness is a (state of<\/strong><\/span>
\nthe heart<\/strong><\/span>) in relation to God.<\/p>\n

We are (called to be holy<\/strong><\/span>) because (God is holy<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
