THERE AND BACK AGAIN<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">This Scripture depicts a resurgence of spiritual things, then a falling away, and then a<br \/>\nresurgence:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>The resurgence begins with (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Hezekiah<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<li>The falling away begins with (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Manasseh<\/strong><\/span>), his son.<\/li>\n<li>The resurgence happens under 8 year old (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Josiah<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: inherit; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;\">II. DAVID\u2019S DIVINE MISSION<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Lessons from I Chronicles 10:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>Our hope is not in our (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>zeal for God<\/strong><\/span>), but in God being a (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>promise-keeping<\/strong><\/span>) God.<\/li>\n<li>We should be thankful that woven into the gospel message is the promise of (<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">fresh starts<\/span><\/strong>) and (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>new beginning<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<li>God\u2019s plans are not ours; hold yours (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>loosely<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Three ideas come into play (Chapters 11-17):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>God\u2019s plan\/David\u2019s men.<br \/>\n\u2022 When God calls you, he supplies (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>everything you need<\/strong><\/span>) to answer his call.<\/li>\n<li>God\u2019s promises\/David\u2019s thanks.<br \/>\n\u2022 David gave (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>credit where credit was due<\/strong><\/span>) because he knew there was no way he could take credit for what was accomplished.<\/li>\n<li>God\u2019s judgment\/David\u2019s repentance.<br \/>\n\u2022 David refused to give (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>second best<\/strong><\/span>) to a God who had given him the best, in this case, a second chance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">2025 THEME: Burning Hearts<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Next week: An Excellent (Godly) Woman!\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Scripture:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">I Chronicles18-2 Chronicles 12<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2025 THEME: Burning Hearts Title: Simple Words-Lifetime Lessons Scripture: 2 Kings 20-I Chronicles 17 \u201cThose who can\u2019t remember the past are doomed to repeat it.\u201d Santayana I.
