Title: Profound Truths to Live By<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Scripture: Jeremiah 38-Lamentations 5<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

I. GOD REIGNS- NO JOKE (38-41)<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

We will soon learn two things: Earthly kings have (limited power) for a little time, while God has
\n(unlimited power<\/span><\/strong>) for all time.<\/p>\n

God is the Lord of Heaven\u2019s Armies. He will not be (thwarted<\/strong><\/span>). His plans will not be (undercut<\/strong><\/span>).
\nHe is Lord over all (kings and kingdoms<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II. GOD IS TO BE WORSHIPED-NO SUBSTITUTES (42-45)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

\u201cOur Lord hates when we give the worship that is due him to something in creation.\u201d (PDT)<\/p>\n

God\u2019s anger is the (product of His love<\/strong><\/span>). True love is (rightfully jealous<\/strong><\/span>). God has chosen us as His
\nown, and He will not (share our heart<\/strong><\/span>) with other lovers.<\/p>\n

I<\/strong><\/span>I<\/strong><\/span>I. GOD IS ALL-POWERFUL-NO LIMITS (46-52)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

One of the most common mistakes we make is thinking God (is too small<\/strong><\/span>).
\nAs we bring Jeremiah to a close, we are struck by (Who God is<\/strong><\/span>) and (how powerful<\/strong><\/span>) He really is.<\/p>\n

IV. GOD IS MERCIFUL- NO FAILING (Lamentations)<\/h4>\n

Even in our darkest moments, even in our weakest moments, we have a promise from God\u2019s
\nown Word that He (never fails<\/strong><\/span>) and he (never leaves us<\/strong><\/span>). 3:22-24<\/p>\n
