\u201cPride is the only disease known to man that makes everyone sick
\nexcept the person who has it.\u201d<\/p>\n

I. THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PRIDE<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

5 characteristics of pride to avoid:<\/p>\n

            1. Pride rejects God\u2019s (clear warnings<\/strong><\/span>). (5-8)<\/li>\n

            3. Pride has a clouded view of (sin<\/strong><\/span>). (16-17)<\/li>\n
            4. Pride rejoices in an evil person\u2019s (death<\/strong><\/span>). (18-20)<\/li>\n
            5. Pride fails to see a (drift<\/strong><\/span>). (21-22)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              II. THE ANTIDOTE TO PRIDE<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

                      1. Humility sees (God\u2019s work<\/strong><\/span>). (1-4)\n

                        God reassured Ezekiel several times of His strength: \u201che felt the hand of the Lord take hold of him\u201d (1:3); \u201cthe Spirit came into me\u201d (2:2); \u201cThen the Lord took hold of me\u201d (3:22); \u201cThen the Spirit came into me and set me on my feet\u201d (3:24); \u201cBut when I give you a message, I will loosen your tongue\u201d (3:27).<\/li>\n

                      2. Humility finds its source in (God\u2019s presence<\/strong><\/span>). (8-12)\n

                        God\u2019s presence and glory are not focused in this building as in the OT. God\u2019s presence and glory are present in every child of God\u2019s life.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
