Title: Anything Goes?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Scripture: John 14:1-6; 6:16-21<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

I. THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This \u201cI AM\u201d statement of Jesus takes the (COEXIST<\/strong><\/span>) sign and the (all roads lead to heaven<\/strong><\/span>) belief and tosses them to the garbage heap.<\/p>\n

II. THE TRUTH REVEALED IN A MIRACLE<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This miracle demonstrates (Christ\u2019s deity<\/strong><\/span>) by revealing His power over (the laws of nature<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Using the metaphor of Jesus walking on the water, He is walking on our rough seas. He sees us struggling and comes into our boat. Sometimes He comes (quickly<\/strong><\/span>). Sometimes He (lingers<\/strong><\/span>) and
\n(waits). But He (is never later<\/strong>)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter how \u201cseasoned\u201d we might be in our faith; how long or how short we have been following Jesus; Jesus will step in when He deems it the time to do so. (Trust His heart<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Two purposes to this miracle:<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. It shows Jesus rules ever realm, including creation or (calming a storm<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
            2. Mark\u2019s gospel shows the disciple had not yet grasped (who Jesus really was<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
