I. WHY IS IT CALLED THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

What is passion? Why was His passion unique?<\/span><\/p>\n

1. More than a mere (human<\/strong><\/span>).<\/span>
\n2. He was (innocent<\/strong><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

What is not important is who killed Jesus. What IS IMPORTANT is that He (chose to die)<\/strong><\/span>.
\nThe <\/span>death of Jesus is the doorway to most fantastic part of the story: (the resurrection<\/strong><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

II. WHAT DID IT ACCOMPLISH?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

6 reasons for the death of Jesus:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. To absorb the (wrath of God<\/strong><\/span>). Romans 3:23-25<\/span>
\n2. For the (forgiveness of sin<\/strong><\/span>). Eph. 1:7<\/span>
\n3. To become a (ransom for many<\/strong><\/span>). Mk. 10:45<\/span>
\n4. To (reconcile us<\/strong><\/span>) to God. 2 Cor. 5:17-19<\/span>
\n5. To take away our (condemnation<\/strong><\/span>). Rom. 8:34<\/span>
\n6. To free us from the (slavery of sin<\/strong><\/span>). Heb.13:12 and Rev. 1:5-6<\/span><\/p>\n
