I. A PROPER RECEPTION TO THE WORD<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

How can we hear and understand the Word?<\/p>\n

1. Quick to (listen<\/strong><\/span>). See also Pr.17:28 and 29:20
\n2. Slow to (speak<\/strong><\/span>).
\n3. Slow to (get angry<\/strong><\/span>).
\n4. Pursue a (pure heart<\/strong><\/span>).
\n5. Humbly (accept the Word<\/strong><\/span>). See also Gal. 5:23<\/p>\n

II. A PROPER REACTION TO THE WORD<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The difference:<\/p>\n

1. (Doers<\/strong><\/span>) involves the whole person
\n2. (Hearers<\/strong><\/span>) speaks of a person who sits passively<\/p>\n

How can we tell if we are doer or just a hearer?<\/p>\n

1. There is no divorce between the truth and (our tongue<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2. There is no divorce between the truth and (the needs of others<\/strong><\/span>).
\n3. There is no divorce between the truth and (our witness to the world<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
