Favoritism comes from two Greek words which mean \u201cto receive by face.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tend to show favoritism in three ways: (Tony Evans)<\/p>\n

1. Racism- (Color<\/strong><\/span>)
\n2. Classism- (Status<\/strong><\/span>)
\n3. Culturalism- (Way of life<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

Why is favoritism wrong?<\/p>\n

        1. It is inconsistent with (who God is<\/strong><\/span>). The real issue is (the condition of the soul<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n
        2. It ignores the (universality of sin<\/strong><\/span>). Their behavior was condemned in the OT. See Psalm 72:4 and Pr. 17:5<\/li>\n
        3. It goes against (Scripture<\/strong><\/span>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
