I. PLAYING GOD WITH OTHERS<\/h4>\n

Check out Proverbs 6:16-19<\/p>\n

(Slander<\/strong><\/span>) is a devastating sin. Slander needs only one thing: (a malicious tongue<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

How do we play God with others?<\/p>\n

1. By (speaking against<\/strong><\/span>) them.
\n2. By (judging<\/strong><\/span>) them.<\/p>\n

II. PLAYING GOD WITH YOURSELF<\/h4>\n

My concern: Playing God by thinking we are the (master of our fate, the captain of our soul<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

In James 4:13-14 James says some pretty blunt things:<\/p>\n

1. (Death is certain<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2. We are not the (final authority<\/strong><\/span>) over our lives.
\n3. (Self-reliance<\/strong><\/span>) is a dead-end street.<\/p>\n

Compared to eternity, (life is short<\/strong><\/span>). Ps. 90:10<\/p>\n
