I.\u00a0\u00a0 KNOWING THE SOURCE<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cOh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.\u201d\u00a0 Ps.118:1<\/p>\n

4 ways to give thanks:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. We can (shout<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. We can (serve<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  3. We can (come<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  4. We can (know<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What can we know?<\/p>\n

    1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We can know God as (Creator<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cFor behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth-the Lord, the God of hosts, is his name.\u201d\u00a0 Amos 4:13<\/p>\n

    2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We can know God as our (Redeemer<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0\u00a0 Turn to John 10:11-12,14-16 (p.896)<\/p>\n

    3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We can know we are (His<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    II.\u00a0\u00a0 KNOWING THE SONG<\/h4>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Three parts to this psalm: 1) four ways to give thanks; 2) what can we know; 3) an invitation to thank God.<\/p>\n

    The song has two parts:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. It is a song of (Joy<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cWhen I think of God, my heart is so full of joy that the notes leap and dance as they leave my pen, and since God has given me a cheerful heart, I serve Him with a cheerful spirit.\u201d\u00a0 Franz Joseph Haydn<\/li>\n
    2. It is a song of (Praise<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0\u00a0 Turn to Psalm 72:18-19<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
