 <\/p>\n

Immanuel is one of the names of God.\u00a0 Deeper meaning: He committed Himself to be near us for all eternity.\u00a0 This is more than the Christmas story; it is the Christmas (miracle<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\n

God (with us<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0 That tells us (Jesus is God<\/span><\/strong>). Even more, Jesus is God with us. He was more than a godly man or a talented ma or a holy man.\u00a0 He was (God in the flesh<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\n

John 10:30- \u201cI and the Father are one.\u2019<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE CONCRETE MEANINGS<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

The glory of Christmas is not a pageant or a play; it is the precious truth that God desired to be near to His sinful creation, to bind Himself to us irrevocably and forever.\u00a0\u00a0 What does that mean for us?<\/p>\n

  1. It means we are far more precious to God than we could ever imagine.<\/li>\n
  2. It means there is far more to celebrate than we thought.<\/li>\n
  3. It means we will never be alone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
