I.\u00a0\u00a0 UNDERSTANDING GOD \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Voltaire- \u201cGod created man in His own image, and man returned the favor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWhile the subject (of God) humbles the mind, it also expands it.\u201d\u00a0 J.I. Packer<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cIt is obvious God desires our love.\u00a0 We cannot have intimate fellowship with one we do not love, and we cannot love one we do not know; therefore, we must pass on to know Him.\u201d\u00a0 Dan DeHaan.<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 UNDENIABLE TRUTHS \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Some Perfections of God:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. God is (Immutable<\/span><\/strong>)- God doesn\u2019t change. God is (faithful<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  2. God is Omnipotent (All Powerful<\/span><\/strong>); God is Omniscient (All-Knowing<\/strong>)<\/span>; God is Omnipresent (Everywhere Present<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He has unrestrained power.\u00a0 Psalm 115:3- \u201cOur God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.\u201d<\/p>\n

    2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He has unlimited knowledge.<\/p>\n

    3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He has unfettered access to everywhere at the same time.\u00a0 \u201cAm I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord\/\u201d\u00a0 Jer.23:23-24<\/p>\n

    3.\u00a0 God is (Good<\/span><\/strong>)- Encompasses His benevolence, love, mercy, and grace.<\/p>\n

    4.\u00a0 God is (Just<\/span><\/strong>)- He is fair.<\/p>\n

    5.\u00a0 God is (Patient<\/span><\/strong>)- He is looking for a reason to bless.<\/p>\n

    6.\u00a0 God is (Holy<\/span><\/strong>)- This sets Him apart.\u00a0 He is pure.\u00a0 God does not conform to a standard; He is the standard.<\/p>\n
