First picture we have of Saul is not a baby in his mother\u2019s arms, or a Jewish lad running through the streets with his buddies seeing what kind of mischief they can get into.\u00a0 It is as one giving consent to a (murder<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Saul was a (Pharisee<\/span><\/strong>), the party most tied to (Jewish nationalism<\/span><\/strong>) and strictness to the law of Moses. He sat under the teaching of (Gamaliel<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

    In Acts 26 Paul uses an interesting phrase: \u201cSaul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?\u00a0 It is hard for you to kick against the goads<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 What is a goad?<\/p>\n

    God had been working on Saul for years.\u00a0 Why did he continue kicking back?<\/p>\n
