3 types of people to avoid (dubbed Toxic Trinity by Craig Groeschel):<\/p>\n

  1. Chronic (Critic<\/span><\/strong>)-<\/li>\n
  2. (Controller<\/span><\/strong>)<\/li>\n
  3. (Tempter<\/span><\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u201cFriends love through all kinds of weather, and families stick together in all kinds of trouble.\u201d\u00a0 Proverbs 17:17 (MSG)\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cA friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.\u201d\u00a0 (NLT)<\/p>\n

    \n

    \u201cWhoever walks with the wise become wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.\u201d\u00a0 Proverbs 13:20<\/p>\n

    \n

    Keep in mind when choosing friends:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Set (healthy boundaries<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0 Draw a line in the sand.<\/li>\n
    2. Make sure people will know you will not act in a (toxic manner<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \n

      Who should we look for?\u00a0 (A positive to 6:16-19)<\/p>\n

      1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 People with a (teachable<\/span><\/strong>) and (humble<\/span><\/strong>) spirit.<\/p>\n

      2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 People who tell the (truth<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

      3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 People who are sensitive, tender-hearted and (full of mercy<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

      4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 People who have (integrity<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

      5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 People who can keep (confidences<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

      6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 People who can lead us to (deeper intimacy<\/span><\/strong>) with Jesus.<\/p>\n
