I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE STRUGGLE WITH INFERIORITY<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a man thinks in his heart, so is he.\u201d\u00a0 Prov.23:7<\/p>\n

Some characters in the Bible who struggled with inferiority:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Moses-\u00a0\u00a0 To feel inferior is not to be (humble<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  2. Jeremiah- Turn to Jer.1:4-5 (p.627)<\/li>\n
  3. Amos- \u201cI was no prophet, nor a prophet\u2019s son, but I was a herdsmen and a dresser of sycamore figs.\u00a0 But the Lord took me from following the flock, and the Lord said to me, \u2018Go, prophecy to my people Israel.\u2019 \u201c\u00a0 God can (transform<\/span><\/strong>) anyone into His (vessel<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    II.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE SOLUTION TO INFERIORITY<\/h4>\n

     <\/p>\n

    \u201cAnd the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.\u00a0 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.\u201d\u00a0 Phil.4:8<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. You need to remember (God\u2019s estimate<\/span><\/strong>) of you.\u00a0 Mt.6:26: \u201cLook at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them.\u00a0 Are you not of more value than they?\u201d<\/li>\n
    2. You need to remember (your importance<\/span><\/strong>) to the body.\u00a0\u00a0 I Cor.12:14-17<\/li>\n
    3. You need to remember you are never out of (God\u2019s sight<\/span><\/strong>).\u00a0\u00a0 Psalm 139:1-18<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Verses 1-6-<\/p>\n

      2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Verses 7-12-<\/p>\n

      How do we deal with inferiority when it creeps in?<\/p>\n

      1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Remember you were prescribed before birth.<\/p>\n

      2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Remember growth is a process and is still going on.<\/p>\n

      3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Refuse to compare yourself with others.<\/p>\n

      4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Respond correctly to your shortcomings.<\/p>\n
