\u00a0Group called the Essenes.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThe greatest danger regarding cults\u2026is complacency-considering ourselves and our children to be immune from their attraction.\u00a0 If Christ is not the center of a Christian\u2019s life, that Christian is ripe for another spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cWe may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.\u201d\u00a0 Eph.4:14<\/p>\n

Who to avoid?<\/p>\n

  1. We are to avoid the (intellectuals<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  2. We are to avoid the (legalists<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  3. We are to avoid the (mystics<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  4. We are to avoid the (ascetics<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n

    Comes down to one factor: we are (made alive<\/span><\/strong>) in Christ and (forgiven<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n
