SPEECH THAT IS (WHOLESOME)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cPut aside all anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from their mouth.\u201d Col.3:8<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cLord, help me control my tongue; help me be careful about what I say.\u201d Ps.141:3 (NCV)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cSet a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.\u201d Ps.141:3 (ESV &amp; NIV)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">What kind of speech should that be?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Words that (build up).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. According to (needs)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Words that are (gracious). \u201cLet you speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt.\u201d Col.4:6<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>II. ATTITUDES THAT ARE (WELCOME)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. (Bitterness)- a smoldering resentment<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. (Wrath)- passion of the moment<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. (Anger)- more of an internal smoldering<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4. (Clamor)- brawling, loss of control<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5. (Slander)- defamation of one\u2019s character<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">6. (Malice)- general term for evil<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Two attitudes that are welcome:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Tenderhearted<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Forgiving one another<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>III. CHARACTER THAT IS (WITNESSED)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">These must be dealt with:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1) Immorality- porneia<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2) Impurity- anything that is unclean and filthy<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3) Covetousness (Greed)-a desire for more<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4) Filthiness- obscenity.
