The Sea of Galilee is a 13 miles wide and 7 miles long freshwater lake.<\/p>\n

Luke uses the word \u201cwindstorm.\u201d The word literally means (fierce gale<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Turn to Psalm 65:5-7 (p.480) and Psalm 89:9. Another worthy of mention is Psalm 107: 23-31<\/p>\n

If Jesus needs time to (recharge His batteries<\/strong><\/span>), what does that say about us?<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 MASTER AND COMMANDER \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mark has the disciples saying, \u201cMaster, do you not care that we are perishing?\u201d Even though Jesus is in the boat, (fear<\/strong><\/span>) trumped His presence.<\/p>\n

(Worry<\/strong><\/span>) and (concern<\/strong><\/span>) are not the same thing.<\/p>\n

Whenever we are going through a tough time, we tend to assume a loving God (has abandoned us<\/strong><\/span>). There is, perhaps, no line of thinking (more damaging<\/strong><\/span>) or (more undermining<\/strong><\/span>) to the Christian faith than this one. The enemy wants you to fall prey to the idea (God does not care about your or what you are going through<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
