\u201cFaith is believing that Christ is what He is said to be, that He will do what He has promised to do, and expecting this of Him.\u201d Charles Spurgeon<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was either a liar, a lunatic, or who He said He was.\u201d C.S.Lewis<\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 INTRODUCING \u201cI AM\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are 7 I AM<\/strong> statements in John:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0 I AM the Bread of Life<\/p>\n

2) \u00a0 I AM the Light of the World<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0 I AM the Door\/Gate<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0 I AM the Good Shepherd<\/p>\n

5) \u00a0 I AM the Resurrection and the Life<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0 I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0\u00a0 I AM the True Vine<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In today\u2019s culture a person\u2019s credibility comes from (action<\/strong><\/span>) rather than just (talking<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Turn to Exodus 3-4. I Am is the present tense name of God, (YAHWEH<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

YAHWEH translates into (I AM WHO I AM<\/strong><\/span>) in the LXX (Septuagint<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 INTRODUCING \u201cHE IS ENOUGH\u201d \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cThey were seeking Jesus.\u201d What can we learn from this statement and the surrounding events?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 (Satisfaction<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 (Check your motives<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Jesus is the (Bread of Life<\/strong><\/span>). Jesus had been making His point by His actions. He switches gears and talks about who He is. It is His (identity<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus says, \u201cI AM the Bread of life.\u201d Bethlehem means (house of bread<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
