\u201cWhat does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has the eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.\u201d Augustine<\/p>\n

The Seven I AM statements Jesus made about Himself:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. I AM the Bread of Life<\/li>\n
  2. I AM the Light of the World<\/li>\n
  3. I AM the Door\/Gate<\/li>\n
  4. I AM the Good Shepherd<\/li>\n
  5. I AM the Resurrection and the Life<\/li>\n
  6. I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life<\/li>\n
  7. I AM the True Vine<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Greek word for \u201cgardener\u201d is the word (farmer<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENT FOR FRUIT \u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

     <\/p>\n

    If we lack the (connection<\/strong><\/span>) to the Father, the (Source of strength<\/strong><\/span>) for those who follow Jesus, we will not bear fruit. The plain and hard truth is the Christian life is neither hard nor difficult; it is (impossible<\/span><\/strong>) to live without (abiding<\/span><\/strong>) in Christ.<\/p>\n

    The word \u201cabide\u201d literally means \u201cto have a permanent union with.\u201d To abide in Christ means to have a (desperate dependence<\/span><\/strong>) and (restful residence<\/span><\/strong>) in the Lord.<\/p>\n

    The call here is not for us to (bear fruit<\/span><\/strong>); it is to (abide<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n
