I.\u00a0\u00a0 WHEN PATIENCE IS FLAWED \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cClothe yourselves with\u2026patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.\u201d Col.3:12-13<\/p>\n

\n

4 spiritual flaws:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Because you are a Christian, all your (problems<\/strong><\/span>) are (solved<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All problems you will ever have are addressed (in the Bible<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you are having problems, you are (unspiritual<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Being exposed to sound Biblical teaching automatically (solves problems<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 WHEN PATIENCE IS NEEDED \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Bible uses several words for patience. Each word has a different aspect of patience:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our response at the hands of others.\u00a0 This is called (Longsuffering<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The provocation of the (godly person<\/strong><\/span>) by others.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patience needed toward the (faults and failures<\/strong><\/span>) of others.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Waiting<\/strong><\/span>) on God.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Turn to Psalm 62:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wait for God to (direct your steps<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Trust God to (provide your needs<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wait silently, (in stillness<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You wait in (confidence<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
