I.\u00a0\u00a0 WHAT OTHERS SAY \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

What did people of His day about Him?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Religious Leaders- \u201cWho is this man who speaks blasphemies?\u00a0 Who can forgive sins, but God alone?\u201d Luke 5:21<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Civic Leaders- \u201cI beheaded John, but who is this about whom I hear such things?\u201d Luke 9:9<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The People in His hometown- \u201cIs this not the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not his sisters here with us? And they took offense at Him.\u201d Mark 6:3<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 His own students- \u201cWho is this man that even the wind and waves obey Him?\u201d Mk.4:35-41<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus was God (in human flesh<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Phil.2:6-8 says, \u201c\u2026who did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cGod has sent prophets many times, but now He would do something far more shocking. He would leave the throne of heaven-a king in disguise. The Lord of the universe in human scale. The Creator among His creatures.\u201d <\/em>\u00a0David Jeremiah<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Jesus is (right here with us<\/strong><\/span>). Is.9:6-7<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wonderful Counselor<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mighty God<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Everlasting Father<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Prince of Peace<\/p>\n
