Our statement of faith: \u201cWe believe that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son and is present in the world to make men aware of their need for salvation in Jesus Christ; is given to the believer at the time of His salvation, and then provides the Christ-follower with guidance and power for living.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesus told His disciples His presence (in<\/span><\/strong>) them would be greater than His presence (beside<\/strong><\/span>) them.<\/p>\n

The HS was never given to operate of His own volition. It was, and never is, the purpose of the HS to draw attention to Himself. His purpose has always been to draw attention to Jesus.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe work of the Spirit is a \u201cfloodlight ministry, quietly turning everyone\u2019s attention from Himself to the Savior.\u201d J.I.Packer<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 THE ANSWER WE FIND \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Who is the Holy Spirit?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is a (person<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is (God<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is (eternal and holy<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Spirit has His own (mind<\/strong><\/span>), and He (prays<\/strong><\/span>) for us.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Spirit has (emotions<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Spirit has His own (desires and will<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is (omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\u201cSo apart from Him (the HS<\/strong><\/span>), not only will there be no lively believers and no lively congregations, there will be no believers and no congregations at all.\u201d Packer<\/p>\n
