I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE X-RAY OF THE CHURCH \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The description of Jesus:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He first changes (His name<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 The term He uses emphasizes His (deity<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 The change is significant because He is not wanting to be seen here as the sympathetic (High Priest<\/strong><\/span>) but the divine (Judge<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He has eyes like a (flame of fire<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Eyes like flames of fire and feet like (burnished bronze<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\n

Why such a shock to read this description, especially when He commends them:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They were (showing love<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They were commended for their (faith<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They were commended for their (service<\/strong><\/span>) and (perseverance<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE TREATMENT FOR THE CHURCH \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

What is the cancer ripping at the heart of the church of Thyatira? \u00a0{v.20]\u00a0 There is an attitude of (tolerance<\/strong><\/span>) which has been allowed to spread like a malignant cancer.<\/p>\n

\n

For those who repent He offers something much more pleasant:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He says (no more burdens<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He promises a (right future<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
