I.\u00a0\u00a0 THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Immanuel (God with us<\/strong><\/span>) explains one of the great reasons for Christmas in the first place.<\/p>\n

\n

Immanuel says God did not make a cameo role. He actually, physically, lived among us for 33 years. \u201cAnd the Word became flesh and dwelt (lived) among us, and we have seen His glory\u2026\u201d John 1:14. Two things stand out to me:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cDwelt\u201d or (lived among us<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cWe have seen\u201d is proof positive he was (seen by men<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 THE STORY WITHIN THE STORY \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The glory of Christmas is the precious truth that God desired to (draw near to us<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 It is not a glory we watch; it is something we participate in. We are the (primary characters<\/strong><\/span>) in this drama:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The glory of Christmas means we are (far more precious to God<\/strong><\/span>) than we could ever imagine.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The glory of Christmas means there is (far more to celebrate<\/strong><\/span>) than we thought.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The glory of Christmas means we will (never be alone<\/strong><\/span>). Ever again.<\/p>\n
