I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 START WITH A CHECKUP<\/p>\n

\u201cGod is not so much concerned about your ability, but your availability.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cSearch me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!\u201d Ps.139:23-24<\/p>\n

\n

The development of a strong Christian character is the development of a man (after God\u2019s own heart<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Your character is who you are (when no one is looking<\/strong><\/span>) and what you are (willing to stand for<\/strong><\/span>) when someone is looking.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 SYMPTOMS TO LOOK FOR<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Holiness<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 The man of God needs to be free of sinful thoughts, destructive emotions, impure motives, unclean images, and questionable activities.\u00a0 Can\u2019t be done by our own efforts! It can only come through (the work of the Holy Spirit<\/strong><\/span>) in our lives.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Pure Heart<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Means to be sincere.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Contrite Heart<\/strong><\/span>). A contrite heart is one that is (humble and repentant<\/strong><\/span>) before God. \u201cFor you will not delight in sacrifices, or I would give it; you will not be pleased with a burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.\u201d Ps.51:16-17<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Reverence and awe<\/strong><\/span>) toward God.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Faithfulness<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 \u201cFor the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, looking for men who are fully committed to Him.\u201d 2 Chron.16:9<\/p>\n
