I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE UGLY TRUTH \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Heb.12:15- \u201cSee that no one misses the grace of God.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWhen we miss grace things become toxic. Religion without grace is poisonous. A relationship without grace is poisonous. A church without grace is poisonous. A heart without grace is poisonous.\u201d (p.15)\u00a0 \u201cWhen we miss grace, the poison of bitterness and anger will eventually become too much to keep buried. The poison of guilt and shame will eventually destroy your soul.\u201d (p.16)\u00a0 Idleman-\u201cGrace is Greater\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cGod\u2019s grace is compelling when explained but irresistible when experienced.\u201d<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE BEAUTIFUL COLLISION \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

What we do to deny our need for grace:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We (compare ourselves<\/strong><\/span>) to others.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We weigh (the bad against the good<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\n

The woman at the well had some false assumptions about Jesus:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She assumed Jesus (wanted nothing<\/strong><\/span>) to do with her.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She assumed Jesus is more interested in (religion<\/strong><\/span>) than her.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She assumed Jesus was making an offer (too good to be true<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
