I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 AN ARK OF CONNECTION \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The ark symbolized (God\u2019s presence<\/strong><\/span>) among the people. Even more. With this incident at the Jordan, they were saying (God Himself went before them<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

What did the ark symbolize?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God\u2019s (sovereignty, power, or rule<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God\u2019s (holiness<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God\u2019s (justice<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God\u2019s (unchanging character<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 STONES OF REMEMBRANCE \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>

Three reasons for the memorial:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Because road ahead would be (hard<\/strong><\/span>) and sometimes (discouraging<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Children often forget the (faith and instruction<\/strong><\/span>) of parents.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Testimony to the (existence and nature<\/strong><\/span>) of the one True God.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

III.\u00a0 AN ACT OF CONSECRATION <\/strong>
\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Why put the people through this? (Obedience<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

Two acts of consecration:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Circumcision<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Passover<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n
