I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God Keeps His Word: Three Promises Fulfilled<\/strong><\/h4>\n

1.)\u00a0 (Abraham\u2019s<\/u><\/strong>) descendants inherit the Land promised in Gen 15<\/p>\n

2.)\u00a0 Rahab and her family are (spared when Jericho is conquered<\/u><\/strong>)<\/p>\n

3.)\u00a0 The Lord promises to deliver Jericho to the Israelites and does so<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 Strange Strategies<\/strong><\/h4>\n

J. Huffman: \u201cGod actually goes out of His way to choose (absurd means<\/strong><\/span>) to do His will.\u201d\u00a0 God uses absurd means because it requires (obedient faith<\/strong><\/span>) on the part of His people.\u00a0 Using absurd means produces a (righteous perpective<\/strong><\/span>) amongst His people.<\/p>\n

III.\u00a0 Devoted to the Lord<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A few comforting reminders:<\/p>\n

1.)\u00a0 God of the OT and God of the NT are one and the same!<\/p>\n

2.)\u00a0 The incarnation \u2013 Christ inserted himself into this messed up world! He did not remain far away but entered the fray.<\/p>\n

3.)\u00a0 God\u2019s judgement is always consistent and fair.<\/p>\n

4.)\u00a0 God is also the God of grace \u2013 in the OT. Rahab is the perfect example.<\/p>\n
