I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 WISDOM\u2019S OFFER<\/h4>\n

Such strange language in the verses 8-9:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Listen to your father and mother\u2019s teaching.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What is a graceful garland?\u00a0 Some translations use (chains<\/strong><\/span>). A garland was a (victor\u2019s crown<\/strong><\/span>) and the pendant was like a (medal<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

What are some of the medals and garlands we can wear?<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cPut on the Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d\u00a0 Rom.13:14<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cLet your reasonableness be known to everyone.\u201d Phil.4:5<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cSo whatever you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God\u2026just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage<\/span>, but that of man, that they might be saved.\u201d I Cor.10:31,33<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 WISDOM\u2019S CHOICES<\/h4>\n

What kind of choices does wisdom offer us?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Don\u2019t join in the (sin of others<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Verses 10-13<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Don\u2019t get involved in (evil schemes<\/strong><\/span>). Verses 14-16<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Don\u2019t (seek vengeance<\/strong><\/span>). Verses 17-19<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Don\u2019t turn away from (wisdom<\/strong><\/span>). Verses 20-22<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Do accept wisdom\u2019s offer of (security<\/strong><\/span>). Verse 33.<\/p>\n
