\u201cWere they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed, they did not know how to blush.\u201d Jer.6:15<\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE WARNING AGAINST SEXUAL SIN\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Gospel calls us to both (form and freedom<\/strong><\/span>), both (structure and liberation).<\/p>\n

The father warns his son of two specific ways we can be tempted to fall:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Words<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Looks<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE BATTLE AGAINST SEXUAL SIN <\/strong>
\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

To summarize chapters 5-7:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chapter 5 tells us sexual sin is eventually (disappointing<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chapter 6 tells us sexual sin is gradually (destructive<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chapter 7 tells us sexual sin is ultimately (deadly<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Lessons to learn about battle against sexual sin:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lesson #1: See the (end<\/strong><\/span>) not just the (beginning<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lesson #2: The Father\u2019s love and the woman\u2019s \u201clove\u201d is (different<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lesson #3: The enemy loves to play on our (vulnerability<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

How do we fight it?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If married, be satisfied with your spouse. (5:15-20)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Be in a saving relationship with Jesus.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Claim God\u2019s (forgiveness<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Make every thought (obedient to Christ<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Form a (new way of thinking<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Get by with (help from friends<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 \u201cA person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.\u201d Eccl.4:12 (NLT)<\/p>\n
