I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE DELUSION OF DEPENDENCE \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>

One of the sad results of sin is that it causes all of us at one time and in some way to buy into the (delusion of independence<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

The Bible makes it clear that the quest for independence never leads to independence but to (bondage and slavery<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

The key: Running away from (independence<\/strong><\/span>) and acknowledging our need for (dependence).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE PURSUIT OF DEPENDENCE \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

People are beings of (purpose<\/strong><\/span>). We are moved by (passions and desires<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a way which seems right to man.\u201d Pr.14:12; 16:25)<\/p>\n

Waiting on God is not about God (forgetting, forsaking, or being unfaithful<\/strong><\/span>) to you and me. Waiting on God is a time for me to (grow stronger<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

What are some bad habits we can adopt while waiting?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We give way to (doubt<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We give way to (anger<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We give way to (discouragement<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We give way to (envy<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We give way to (inactivity<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
